The Gallery
It’s the goal of the White Porch Gallery and it’s owner & curator Tom Shirk to build and work with others to curate contemporary meeting places that have a buzz and energy about them where people want to go as a destination for the moment, their vacation, their evening, or that special event using art as that pop of color and spark of energy. This often creates strong connections to the art works. In the Wynwood arts district of Miami, R House’s concept is based on the integration of three key elements: Food, Art and Music. The art element is represented by the installations curated by the White Porch Gallery throughout the space.

The White Porch Gallery is pleased to curate the art at R House Wynwood Miami and at the White Porch Inn Art Hotel in Provincetown. The concept is to showcase art in a living environment that is integrated with the art lovers surroundings, creating a connection to the art.
It is my ongoing personal goal to curate spaces that are more than just stylish boutique hotels or restaurants simply with art. I strive to build and or work with others to curate contemporary meeting places that have a buzz about them where people want to go as a destination for their vacation, their evening, or that special event using art as that pop of color and spark of energy.

The White Porch Gallery is proud to curate the art @ R house Wynwood. Located on the main strip of Miami’s hip Wynwood Arts District at 2727 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami Wynwood!
R House’s concept is based on the integration of three key elements: Food, Art and Music. The food element is defined by the creative vision behind each dish and theattentive service provide to each and every guest. The R House is a unique fine dining establishment focusing on an eclectic mix of Mediterranean, Asian and Latin dishes The music element is represented by the exciting live music events and DJs planned at R House. The art element is represented by the installations curated by the White Porch Gallery at R House. These installations are presented throughout the space. From the bar to the dining room to the outdoor space on the walls, the art plays the strongest presence of the elements thus making the art curated by the White Porch Gallery for R house a completely creative sensory experience.
It is the goal of the White Porch Gallery to help R House bring the essence of the Wynwood gallery and arts movement into the space by allowing the local and global artists to capture the excitement and buzz that has turned this neighborhood into one of the hottest parts of Miami.
We enjoy being part of the Wynwood Gallery Art Walk every month, an event that brings thousands of people to the area as well as the Art Pre-view Walk which is the second Thursday of each month.

Our Provincetown art gallery is located at the White Porch Inn Art Hotel in the heart of Provincetown and in the middle of the P’town gallery district.
In(n) Art is the ever changing installation of contemporary and traditional art that is displayed by the White Porch Gallery at the White Porch Inn Art Hotel. The concept of In(n) Art is to showcase art available to guests in a living environment that is integrated with their surroundings during their Provincetown vacation. In this relaxed and easy-going environment, art lovers have the opportunity to enjoy the pieces, over a glass of wine or two, in a social setting with other guests.
The pieces on display through out the common areas of the White Porch Inn Art Hotel as well as in the room are from artists from countries around the world. Most of the pieces on display are available for purchase. There are also special package deals available for guests staying at this Provincetown Art Hotel and to guests staying at a Distinctive Inn of Provincetown properties.
