Harold Ortiz (Colombia, 1982)

Visual Artist who lives and works in Medellin. He has studies in Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art. In 2013 he creates and produces TIMEBAG Project, through an exercise of self-residency in the abandoned railway workshops of Antioquia. His exploration of different materials has given rise to reflections of space through the material, time and memory and a language found in the handling of acids (chemicals) and deteriorating systems as if it were a color palette. His illustration work has been awarded at international events in countries such as Portugal, Mexico, Brazil and Colombia.

His work explores the concept of the observer as it does science, but from art. His work create reflections between science, history and culture, always questioning the point of view of the observer.
