Christin Paige Minnotte

Christin Paige Minnotte

Christin Paige Minnotte is a fine art, conceptual fashion, and portrait photographer. She spent most of her life in New York City, then moved to San Francisco where she received a Portfolio Scholarship to attend art school at SFAI. She recently relocated to Miami, where she has her studio. She believes that images facilitate our seeing ourselves as we feel. This function dictates their form and is the reason for making them, catharsis for the heart.

More deeply, her work is made with the intent to create a new space where form meets abstraction and the literal or material meets the aspirational or spiritual. The subjects in her work have a way of giving form to the ethereal, elusive or otherworldly while simultaneously elevating the commonplace to the soulful. Her fashion art projects result in large format series that combine a fine art sensibility with traditional fashion editorial elements.

She shows her fine art and fashion work in galleries in New York City and Miami. Her Fashion Art Projects have recently been acquired by Hamburg Kennedy Photographs, a photography gallery in NYC whose Fashion Pictures International division is the only gallery in the world specializing in the fine art of fashion photography.

This year she was invited to perform her Disposable Ethic piece as part of the historic 2015 Havana Biennial in Cuba. The performance took place in the ocean at Bustamante Studio in Nautico, Cuba.
